Appearances

A few things are starting to shake out and I thought I might drop them here just because, well, because that’s what you do with these things, eh?

BARTHOLOMEW COUNTY WRITER’S CONFERENCE:

For anyone in the central/southern Indiana area, I’ll be a guest speaker at the Bartholomew County writer’s conference on Saturday, October 6. It’s an all-day event, but I expect to be on from 4:15-4:45 give or take a bit. Should be fun. I’m currently expecting to be talking about the re-writing process–something I suppose I do a bit of. The lineup is going to be a really interesting mix of writers from around the area, so do consider stopping by if you get the opportunity.

I’ll link to promotional material or any changes whenever it becomes available.

WORLDCON:

I’ll also be attending WorldCon in Chicago this year, which will be my first such visit since 2002 when the convention was in San Jose. It should be great fun. I’m really looking forward to it, though I admit with the massive changes going on in publishing it almost feels like my first one. Lisa says she’s excited to go this year, too, though I need to temper her excitement with the fact that it’s in Chicago and Lisa will go to Chicago at the drop of a hat.

Regardless, it’s kinda fun to be voting for the Hugo again this year.

Note to convention-voters … please put WorldCon in the Windy City every year.
