Chasing the Setting Sun is published!

I’m sure you feel it, too. It’s just a fantabulous day, isn’t it? The sun is shining brightly (even if it’s back there behind the clouds). The air has that crisp sense of anticipation to it, and you know the World Series is about to start. But beyond that, it’s Publication Day!

Yes, indeed … I can finally report that Chasing the Setting Sun is available in electronic and print form all over the place.

Amazon (Kindle)
Kobo
Smashwords (All formats)
Barnes & Noble (Nook)

And, of course, in Print!

Yay!

Typosphere Exclusive! … Free Story!

As you can tell from their covers, the two books that make up the PEBA Diaries are a genre of their own, one mixed of alternate history, baseball, mystery, science fiction, and fantasy. They’re road trip tales, guy stories. I can see the word bromance here, I suppose. Just don’t say it too loud, all right?. So, yeah, they’re a bit hard to categorize, but whatever you call them, I hope you’ll find both to be fun, quick reads.

To give you an idea of what I mean, here’s a free short story set in the same environment–exclusive to you as a Typosphere reader for the next two weeks! (okay, I admit, it was available to Ron’s Ramblers–the ultra-cool nickname I’m using for my newsletter subscribers, natch!–a few weeks ago. If you want to be really, really ahead of the curve, as well as receive free stuff, you can join that august membership, too! (Perhaps you’ll get a secret decoder ring?)

Anyway, here’s the freebie:

The Mysterious Case of Shojiro Sano’s Bats

Inspector Yuni Ichihara loves his local baseball team, but when his phone rings one morning it puts him on a case that will send him to the darkest places of that love. Inspector Ichihara has faith in his city, you see? He has hopes for his team. But can he believe in himself?

And, finally … See the PEBA Goes Free!

Though Chasing the Setting Sun can stand alone, I should probably remind folks that this is a sequel to See the PEBA on $25 a Day. But fear not, if you’re wanting to catch completely up, you can grab a free copy at Smashwords or Kobo (other places will follow along in a bit, but that’s it for now).

As I’ve noted before, you can get PEBA in print, now, too. Regrettably, and alas (for you) however, that version is not free.

So, yeah, it’s a fun day today, don’t you think?
